Wizarding Celebration

Step into the wizarding world for a magical day of family-friendly fun at the Terrebonne Parish Main Library. Young witches, wizards, and muggles alike are invited to enjoy themed activities inspired by the beloved Harry Potter series, including story time, hands-on S.T.E.M. activities, crafts, and a movie screening.

Who Can Attend

This free event is open to children and families of all ages. Some activities are specifically designed for participants ages 10 and older.

What to Expect

• 10:00 AM – Wizard Storytime
• 1:00 PM – Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone movie screening
• 2:00 PM – Ollivander’s Wand Shop S.T.E.M. activity (ages 10 & up)
• 3:00 PM – Charms Class
• 4:00 PM – Remembrall Ring activity (ages 10 & up)
• Wizard-themed activities throughout the day
• A fun, interactive atmosphere celebrating the magic of reading and imagination

Guests are encouraged to dress in their favorite wizarding attire and bring their imagination for a magical day at the library.
