Let’s grow some musicians, Louisiana!
We have teamed up with professional fiddle player Waylon Thibodeaux to bring you Cajun Fiddle 101 lessons.
This will be our first cohort of 10 students learning in-person with Waylon Thibodeaux.
These lessons will be held on Tuesday nights at Bayou Terrebonne Distillers from 6-7pm. The fee to take the course is only $100. We are keeping your cost low to make the course more accessible.
The application deadline is midnight on February 22nd, so get those applications in!

If you already have a little bit of fiddle experience, we invite you to join us at our open Cajun music jams to further hone your skills. These happen on the first and third Wednesdays of the month from 6-8pm at Gina’s At The Legion in Thibodaux and on the second Wednesday of the month at C’est Bon Cafe in Houma.
If you don’t make it into this cohort, don’t worry. There will be more opportunities for you to learn Cajun fiddle.
The course will begin on Tuesday, February 28, and run through Tuesday, April 4. Dates subject to change if needed and correspondence will go out to the cohort as necessary in advance.
