2025 Krewe of Tradition Walking Parade on March 2, 1pm, downtown Houma
The Krewe of Tradition is a hand-made parade and a showcase for visual and performance artists!
Want to do something different this year for Mardi Gras? We have just that!Β See below for the list of things we do as a Krewe! Fun starts on Barrow St. (Root to Rise) and walks to Main St ending at La Petit Theatre de Terrebonne.
We have our own parade downtown before Terranians.
We have a tableau that is unlike any other tableau in Houma.
We have FREE pecan decorating at Intracoastal Club every Thursday after 12th night leading up to our parade.
Our parade is kid friendly and is escorted by police for safety.
Our tableau is kid friendly and is smoke free with kids allowed first two hours of tableau.
We hand make our throws which are only found and created by our Krewe.
Our costume contest is a sight to see and the winners become our Royal Court! Everyone invited to join in!
