What’s the point of a silent book club? If you’re an introvert needing to form a quiet community, try out an hour or two of companionable silence with like-minded people. If you find yourself “bad at book clubs” and never interested in the picks or sharing your thoughts, try a club with no assigned reading, no book discussions, and no pressure.
Introvert Hour is BYOB(ook) and held on the second Thursday of every month at the Main Library. We’ll start out with 5 minutes of optional introduction and chatting, then dive right into reading.
Reading materials can be physical books, eBooks, newspapers, magazines, or audio-books (supply your own headphones)—anything as long as you’re reading.
