The 2026 Louisiana Blackberry Festival is happening Saturday, May 16th from 11 AM to 6 PM at the Wetlands Discovery Event Center (86 Valhi Blvd., Houma, LA — behind the Courtyard by Marriott).
Whether you’re a proud local or looking for the perfect excuse to visit the bayou, this is one spring celebration you don’t want to miss!
The Louisiana Blackberry Festival is the annual signature fundraiser for MacDonell United Methodist Children’s Services — and every bite, sip, and ticket helps support children and young adults in our community who need a safe, nurturing place to grow. This festival isn’t just fun… it fuels a mission that changes lives right here in Terrebonne Parish.
What to expect?

Blackberry dumplings, desserts, drinks, and creative treats

Delicious food & cold beverages (yes, adult beverages too)

Local craft vendors

Live music

Kids’ activities for the whole family
It’s sweet, it’s lively, it’s uniquely bayou — and it’s all wrapped into one unforgettable Saturday.
So grab your friends, load up the family, and come experience a true Houma tradition with a purpose.
We’ll see you May 16th!
