Get Out & Fish Kickoff Event at Bayou Country Sports Park

The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries is excited to announce the celebration of a new Get Out & Fish! community fishing program site at Bayou Country Sports Park in Houma, LA. After pandemic related delays, LDWF will finally celebrate the launch of this new location by hosting a FREE Get Out & Fish! event. This family friendly fishing event will include a fishing tournament for all ages, various fishing activities and demonstrations, and raffle prizes! Pre-registration ends at noon May 4 and on-site registration begins at 6:30am on May 6.
