2024 State Louisiana Retired Teacher Fall Meeting
The Louisiana Retired Educators Association invites retired educators to a two-day meeting with informational sessions, special speakers, and a celebration of Louisiana bayou culture.
LRTA will hold a variety of informational sessions, including special speakers: Representative Larry Bagley, TRSL Executive Director Katherine Whitney, and Houma Wildlife Museum Director Jonathan Foret.
We will present the Name of Fame awards, honor local units that earned Unit Challenge awards and will have another wacky hat contest! We are celebrating Louisiana bayou culture and will have a small fais do do to see who wears what hat the best! “Laissez LRTA Rouler!”
Local sponsors are offering a complimentary breakfast on Tuesday, October 29 from 7:00-8:30AM. This will be held at the Terrebonne Parish Library, across the street from the Marriott. Pre-registration is required.
