Inspiration struck artist Kenny Hill, and what resulted is a densely packed collection of concrete sculptures depicting seemingly weightless angels, spiritual representations and a 45-foot-tall lighthouse.

Rougarou Fest is a family-friendly festival with a spooky flair that celebrates Louisiana’s unique folklore, with a flare for the quirky. Named one of the top 10 costume parties in the US by USA Today and one of the top 20 events in October by the Southeast Tourism Society, this event includes a costume contest, children’s games, unique Louisiana merchandise and food, local bands and a parade anchored by the Rougarou himself, a werewolf character famous amongst Louisiana storytellers.
